ABOUT US
Indomitable Families Affected by Incarceration, Inc. was founded by Dr. Crystal DeBerry in February 2014. The number one goal of IFAM is to help restore and empower those affected by Incarceration. IFAM is a non-profit program designed to develop and address educational and biopsychosocial components of men and women with convictions and their families. The outreach program is notable for benefiting those who have a loved one incarcerated by alleviating environmental and psychosocial stressors.

The History of Ifam
How We Came To Be!
•Dr. Crystal DeBerry started her company in February 2014 as Indomitable Wives of Incarcerated Husbands. As a former prison wife herself, she wanted to provide assistance for women in a similar situation.

•In September 2014 the name was changed to Indomitable Women of Incarcerated Men to include not only the wives, but the mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunts, etc. who had a loved one incarcerated.

•In 2018 we started doing business as Indomitable Families Affected by Incarceration (Ifam) in order to represent all members of the family that are impacted by a loved one reentering society.
